El Bahia palace : Marrakech

A palace dating back to the 19th century. It was formerly the residence of the harem of Sultan Ahmad ibn Musa, and has undergone restoration.
 it is still characterized by the pure Moroccan spirit through interiors, ceiling and wood trimmings and 8 hectare gardens.

The palace was designated as a historical landmark to attract visitors and foreign tourists to the Moroccan architecture, especially the wood engraving.

 The building was supervised by the architect Mohamed Ben Maki Musayoui, who received the arts of the wood industry in Meknes and the art of engraving on plaster in Fez by the French officer Erkman, Before the protection, and was the nucleus of the first palace Bahia by the royal eyebrow Musa bin Ahmed al-Bukhari built the Great Riyadh and the northern circle of the palace to stop work in this part in 1886.
